CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, is the lifeblood of small farms, as it helps us cover early-season costs while providing share owners with fresh, local, sustainably-grown produce all season long. When you buy a CSA farmshare, you pay in spring (or divided spring/mid-summer) in order help us with seeds, compost, and other costs, and then you receive the benefits from late spring through fall with a box every other week. Our boxes our affordable and generous, and we also accept work trade for those who are interested in helping on the farm.

About Work Trade
There is work here for every type of body, and we welcome the company and help! We welcome mutual aid and bartering of all kinds!
As an option for a CSA box, we ask for 8 hours of work in exchange for a $100 discount. One of those hours is set aside for instruction, and folks usually fit their work trade into their into the season as makes sense for their body and schedule. We occasionally have work parties with food, fun, and even camping.
Sponsor a Box in Your Community
We work with others to locate community members who would otherwise not have access to fresh, healthy food – and with your help, arrange their access to sponsored CSA Boxes.
In past years, we have provided several families with boxes, and also partnered with nonprofit organizations such as DVSAS, OASIS, New Earth Recovery, and Family Promise of Skagit to provide food and land access to larger groups of folks. We very much enjoy this aspect of our CSA program! We strive to move beyond charity towards empowerment and interconnection as we add classes, gatherings, and land sharing options.
Most of our sponsorships come from community members who likewise believe in creating a more connected and accessible world. We thank you so much for your generosity! Large shout-out here to Scratch & Peck Feeds, who have been generous sponsors for the past few years.
Let us know if you are interested in sponsoring a box, or being one of our sponsored families or organizations.
